Egill Harðar is a veteran web designer, UI and UX expert, music blogger, social media, online marketing and personal branding enthusiast living in Reykjavík, Iceland. He now works as lead systems designer for Gagnavarslan after his recent move from social music marketplace start up www.gogoyoko.com, where he headed a one man social media marketing team. Egill is also the editor of www.rjominn.is which is Iceland’s longest running and most read online music magazine.
Together with his friend and former gogoyoko team mate Stjáni Gunnars, he also runs a little side project at www.socialmedia.is which will open in the first months of 2010.
Egill lives in a cosy little apartment with his girlfriend, two baby boys and Border Terrier named Sproti. He enjoys football (soccer), Internet meme, music, movies, books, design, WordPress tweaking, hanging out on Twitter, procrastinating and learning the trades of marketing, branding and social media.
